Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident when choosing Rentclic. This Refund Policy explains when you are eligible for a refund, how to request one, and how we process refunds. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing.

1. Free Trial

Rentclic offers a 14-day free trial for all new accounts. No credit card is required to start your trial. During the trial period, you have full access to the platform features so you can evaluate whether the service meets your needs before committing to a paid subscription. At the end of the trial, you can choose to subscribe or your account will be automatically downgraded to a read-only state — you will never be charged without explicitly entering your payment details and confirming a subscription.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing cycle. Because the full month of service is made available immediately upon payment:

  • We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of the period you have already paid for, but no pro-rata reimbursement is issued.
  • Cancelling your subscription stops future billing immediately. No additional charges will be made after cancellation is confirmed.

3. Annual Subscriptions

Annual plans are billed as a single upfront payment. The following refund rules apply:

  • If you have not meaningfully used the platform (no vehicles, reservations, or team members added), you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial annual payment.
  • After 30 days, or if the account shows active usage, annual subscription payments are non-refundable. You may cancel to prevent automatic renewal, and your access will continue until the end of the annual period.
  • "Active usage" is defined as having created at least one vehicle record, reservation, or team member invite within the platform.

4. Exceptions — Technical Failures

We stand behind the reliability of our platform. If a significant technical failure on Rentclic's side renders the service substantially inaccessible or unusable, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund or service credit:

  • A "significant technical failure" means the platform was unavailable or critically impaired for more than 24 consecutive hours due to causes within Rentclic's control.
  • In such cases, we will issue a pro-rata refund or account credit corresponding to the number of days of confirmed unavailability, calculated against your current subscription rate.
  • Temporary slowdowns, minor bugs, or downtime caused by third-party infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, database) outside our direct control do not qualify under this exception, though we will make every effort to resolve such issues promptly.
  • To request a refund under this exception, contact us within 14 days of the incident with a description of the issue and the dates affected.

5. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, email us at billing@rentclic.com with the following information:

  • The email address associated with your Rentclic account.
  • Your subscription plan (monthly or annual) and the date of the charge.
  • The reason for your refund request.
  • For technical failure refunds: a description of the issue and the dates the platform was inaccessible.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.

6. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most billing disputes can be resolved quickly by contacting billing@rentclic.com. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account pending investigation.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. The policy in force at the time of your payment governs any refund eligibility for that transaction.
